Love the way this dishwasher is getting everything so clean! It's so quiet I have to stop myself to listen for it when I turn it on. How could I not go with this model? It's new and improved from my old GE Profile, which lasted 22 years. The 18 inch size is perfect for my small kitchen and family of 2.

The dishwasher itself works well. I do not like that you have to open the door right after the cycle ends in order for the dishes to dry (I usually run the dishwasher right before bed). The biggest complaint that I have is that it is easily dented. I had to send back 2 models because they were both dented during delivery. The third model I received was also dented - that dent was still on the stainless steel, but on the side so I decided to keep that one because I wasn't sure the next would be dented worse.

Washes well, but dries poorly, utensil basket doesn't attach to rack and bottom rack has no stop and can roll out on to floor if not careful. If need an 18 inch dishwasher it is Ok but I would have preferred the Bosch. Primary reason I purchased it was because it was the only machine in stock.

We live in a very small condo with very few base cabinets. We wanted to add a dishwasher without compromising on space and this unit fit the bill. The unit is quiet, and does a great job cleaning, we can throw dishes in without rinsing and they come out spotless. The unit is also very sleek, I love that the handle does not extrude out from the unit. Anyone who is leaving negative reviews here either didn't install it correctly, isn't using the right dry cycle settings, or is reviewing this comparing it to the capacity of a full size dishwasher. Overall I love the dishwasher. It is small and takes a few weeks to figure out the best configuration. To get the dishes dry though you have to crack the door open after the clean cycle is complete. If you miss that window, you'll have 2 racks of wet dishes. Don't love the utensil holder, it doesn't stay in place well and the holes aren't big enough for some of my basic knives/forks. However the dryer is very quiet and the dishes are clean!!

Cleans everything well; we've never had residual food or spots on dishes, containers, etc. Passive drying method is surprisingly effective--it does not have a heating element--however, it leaves dishes & silverware dry, but plasticware & containers are typically wet.

Number of washing choices is nice. But....the way the upper and lower racks are designed is absolutely horrible. Our 13 year old Frigidaire racks were designed much, much more practicable. We like the feature of the silverware rack not being in the middle of the lower rack thinking we would have more room and options for the lower rack. That is one of the primary reasons we bought it. I'm not crazy about the "hump" in the silverware rack, maybe that was over thought. The GE seems to be designed for dainty small plates and not heavy daily dishware. There is no place to stack our daily bowls. The instructions show they can be stacked down the middle of the upper rack, but the tongs (?) are too close together for the bowls. If we could fold down every other one, that might work Doesn't work for us. If we lower the upper rack, a design feature l really like but can't use because, if we lower the rack, our daily plates won't fit on the bottom rack without touching the spray arm. So the upper rack has to stay were it is. I guess we can live with that. I like the idea of the fold down racks for larger items and It does clean rather well.

I am not happy that there is no drying cycle built in on this model..I was not told that it had only condensate dry which is really stupid... I would have not purchased this and stayed with the old one I had that still worked well..We just wanted an up grade... Advertizement would have been better if the condensate dry was explained better...

Many people warned us against buying a compact dishwasher. The GE Profile, however really holds a lot. CDC's come out very clean without any residue and the machine is super quiet! We are very happy with our GE Profile.

This was the right size to fit the 18 inch drawer we removed next to the sink. The cabinet came out, disher went in perfect. The stainless matched our other appliances and had no large decals to distinguish between brands. That way the entire kitchen looks identical. Only two of us, so it is convenient for putting dishes, silverware and glasses in all day and run it once. Good design, good price, easy install, minimal features, but does what we want. We only recently installed the unit. Dependability has not been determined yet. Cleans well with just a little pre-rinse.

Can't get over how quiet this dishwasher is. Had it now three weeks (the one prior was installed properly, and damaged by the installers). I was amazed how quiet it was before. This one was installed correctly and it's even more quiet than the one prior. Very happy with this appliance and definitely recommend it for those who are needing a smaller size unit.

I purchased this item. Unfortunately it is a lemon-hasn't worked for even one cycle. The power cuts out after a few minutes. My electrician said it's faulty and to return it. I went to the online reviews to see if other people had experienced similar issues and I found out that it doesn't have a drying cycle so dishes come out wet (you're meant to dry them by opening the door). I can't return the item even though it's brand new so I will be throwing it in the trash and buying a competitor's product.

I bought this at Home Depot. It's a lemon. Never even ran for one cycle-the power cut out. Electrician came out and said it's faulty. Home Depot won't take it back because it's 48 hours after delivery so it's GE's issue. GE could replace it but I since found out that it has no heated drying cycle at the end so dishes come out wet. Can't get my money back so mine is going in the trash but I want to save other customers the waste of time and money. Trust me-you don't want this!!

The dishwasher works good, some if the things I don't like is that the display is not visible when the machine is closed, also if the machine is not open as soon as it finishes then a lot if condensation water drenched the machine.

Dishwasher cleans dishes overall but I have a few recommendations on the racks. The bottom rack posts are too close together. Lid covers don't fit well in between posts. It's a poor design. It's very difficult to fit dishes in between the posts. The silverware basket is cheap and doesn't hold silverware very well. Silver flops around too much. And very tippy silverware holder. I had a Danby before and now wish I would have rebought from them.

We had a 18 inch GE Monogram that served us very well for 16 years. But with updating the kitchen we wanted something much better. The new unit has a bigger interior and cleans everything even at light settings. Pots at higher level come out sparking. And the fact that it has adjustable racks and can sterilize is a huge bonus. So quiet, plus it was affordable. I trust GE.

This dishwasher was super easy to install. We've only had it set up for a few days now, but it cleans our dishes so well and will definitely save us water vs washing dishes by hand. Being the 18" model, it is a game of Tetris to place your dishes in, but it seems to get easier over time. Overall, a great product and worth the money. We also love that it has a modern look. We did a lot of research on 18" models and so many of them look outdated, so we're very happy with how sleek and professional this model looks.

Dish rack was easier to place dishes in our older GE. Silver ware rack is not handy. On the good side it washes the dishes very clean without any prewash . very happy with you product
